The Diamond's Story
How did you meet?
We both working in the same restaurant during college. We started as friends, but it turned into more.
What first attracted you to your spouse?
I liked the fact that he was funny, outgoing and loved to sing. She is beautiful inside and out.
Where was your first date? How did it go?
Since we were friends for so long, not sure that we had a first date. It just went from friends to dating.
How did the proposal happen?
I like to say that when we were in Cape Cod at a beautiful hotel, he said I want you to be my wife. But formally, he had the ring, my grandmother was in town for a engagement party and he had not asked yet, lol! He did the day before the party....nudge, nudge.
When and where was your wedding?
We were married in Positano, Italy on June 1, 2001 on the mountainside over looking the sea.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
After we were married we traveled to Spain, France and other European countries.
What else would you like to share about your romance? Is there a special memory, or an amusing anecdote?
I love when his mom says she knew he really liked me when he let me have a sip of his drink. That was a no-no in his world.
